This dress was an experiment. I took some old T-Shirts and turned them into a dress to send to my mom. It was an experiment for 2 reasons-- 1) Obviously I wasn't using a pattern, so I had no idea where I was going, or how I was going to get there. 2) Even though my mom is about the same size as me, I was making this dress for a different body than my own.
The beauty of a dress made of all T-Shirts is that it is super comfy and super soft. The drawback is that a thin T-Shirt shows any bumps underneath. (And seriously, who doesn't have a bump or two that they don't want to advertise.) But for lounging around the house and walking the dogs, I think it's pretty great!
