Curtains Galore

We have curtains!!! I spent this past weekend sewing curtains and more curtains for our new bedroom-- which has 3 sliding glass doors and 2 tall windows. I estimated that I'd need a whooping 10 yards just to barely cover it... but when I got to the fabric store, I found this fabric for a steal--- only $2 a yard!!! They only had 9 1/2 yards, so I bought it all and crossed my fingers.

To give myself a little extra room on the hems, I used hem tape. Below is a pic of the back... the hem tape is peach! A fun little secret that no one will ever know.

We purposely made the middle curtain shorter to accommodate the doggie door. I wanted Scout and Jack to be able to go in and out freely, and to be able to always see out of the bottom of the window. Ahh, we sacrifice so much for the pups, but Jack peeks his head up to say he approves.
