Quick Fix for a Swimsuit

I love this swimsuit that I got last year because the top can be tied in a variety of ways. But my favorite part is the cute rainbow crochet detailing. The problem is that the crochet section on the bottoms stretches out in the pool-- which is unfortunate and quite scandalous.

To fix this, I sewed in some elastic! I machine-stitched it to the sides, and hand-sewed it to the crocheted section to ease in the excess. I can't believe I didn't think to do this sooner! Here's a close-up of the inside with the elastic installed.
