This is the debut of my new blue blouse! I made this from Burda 7576. The fabric was an absolute nightmare to work with because it is so thin, floppy, and slick. Argh! But I persevered!Shhh..... can you keep a secret? I haven't hemmed the bottom of the blouse yet! I have a presentation today, and really wanted to wear it. It will be tucked in all day, so no one will be the wiser... and quite honestly, I dread the thought of hemming this sucker.
Here's an outside picture on our morning walk. The light is definitely better outside, but I like the plain background inside. So I just can't decide which pictures are better... inside or outside?Outfit details:

ReplyDeletehahaha, that is so funny that you wore it out without hemming it! i would so totally do that [wait, seriously, don't give me ideas]. it's a beautiful color and looks fantastic on you! would it be easier to hem it by hand?
ReplyDeleteThat is really beautiful! I hope your presentation went well. :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely blouse! The outdoor photo is fantastic. And hey, if you always tuck it in, you can skip hemming it forever!
