I'm on a roll with knits. I made up McCall's 6112 again (the pattern I used for my Brown Knit Dress). This time I made the cowl-neck version. It went together pretty quickly, but it was a bit fiddly turning under the hem for the armholes with this really stretchy knit. This is another piece I plan to bring on summer vacations because it is super-comfy, and won't wrinkle a bit!p.s. I'm standing in front of a painting I made of the beach. It hangs in our bedroom, and it is the most peaceful thing to look at when you wake up. Makes me feel like I'm on a cabana at the beach everyday!

What a beautiful painting! I'd love to see more of your art featured in your blog... I like the drawings you include sometimes... Very pretty dress!
ReplyDeleteIs that a mermaid emerging from the ocean? Great job on both the painting and the dress!
